77K Optical Cryostat

Frako-Term presents the innovative 77K optical cryostat, designed for research applications where precision and cooling stability play a crucial role. Utilizing advanced closed-cycle helium cooling technologies and high-quality manufacturing, this cryostat is the ideal tool for scientists conducting research in spectroscopy, condensed matter physics, biophysics, and other fields requiring work at low temperatures.

Key Technical Data

  • Temperature Range: 30K to 300K, enabling research across a wide range of temperatures.
  • Cooling Power: Approximately 130W at 77K, ensuring efficient and rapid achievement of the desired temperature.
  • Material: Vacuum shroud made of split aluminum, with a removable body to facilitate easy sample exchange.
  • Vacuum: Down to 5x10⁻⁷ mbar, offering excellent conditions for experiments that require minimal interaction with the environment.

Features and Properties of the Cryostat

GM Cryocooler Head: The use of a KDE400SA cryocooler with a compressor and accessories guarantees stable and repeatable experimental conditions.

Sample Holder: Copper, optionally gold-plated, designed in consultation with the customer, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and stability.

Temperature Sensor: Allows for precise monitoring and control of experimental conditions.

Optical Window: Customized to specific research requirements, it enables optical observations and measurements.

Vacuum Feedthrough: Allows for the easy connection of additional equipment, such as heaters or temperature sensors.

  • Vacuum Pumping Station: For even better control of vacuum conditions.
  • Compressor Cooling System: In a closed or open loop, ensuring efficient compressor operation and low noise levels.
  • Sound-Dampening Enclosure: Significantly reduces the compressor's noise level, increasing comfort in the laboratory.
  • Vacuum Gauge: Allows for the precise tracking of conditions within the cryostat chamber.
