More and more institutions are using cryogenic temperatures in their applications, high interest is seen both in the science world and business. The most common source of cold are cryogenic liquids such as liquid nitrogen and liquid helium. Unfortunately, their use is expensive to operate and requires constant control of the refrigerant.
In addition, cooling based on the use of liquid helium or liquid nitrogen is not the safest and requires complex installation. In response to these problems, the Cryogen Free concept was created, using cryocoolers (cryorefrigerators) as a source of cold.
Cryogenic technologies quickly find new applications in science and industry. Cryostats, as devices that allow to maintain temperatures close to absolute zero, create new opportunities for medicine, energy and electronics. Low temperatures are used by scientists around the world for space exploration and physical and chemical phenomena.
Frako–Term company has been exploring cryogenic and vacuum technologies in its superconducting research and has developed a number of solutions that allow you to navigate within the 1.5K – 300K. Our offer includes constructions of our own project and our trading partners.
Technical gases are very widely used in the industry, also in such an advanced industry as superconductivity. Despite the increasing use of cryogenics in some applications, liquid Hel is irreplaceable. It works great in such devices as MRI, NMR and MEG. For the needs of our applications we have developed many installations that use liquid helium as a refrigerant.
Our devices not only liquefy Hel but also allow it to be cleaned and recovered for reuse.
We can offer devices with a capacity range from 15L / d to 40L / h.
The most effective isolation for cryogenic application is the vacuum multi-layer insulation, alse referred to as Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI)
The use of MLI instead of other cryogenic insulation types (for example perlite, aerogel) allows cryogenic system to increase efficiency, while reducing the size and weight.
