ABOUT US

We specialize in the design, development and manufacture of high and ultra high vacuum equipment and cryogenic apparatus. We actively participate in the modernization and extension of existing experimental infrastructures.

OUR ACTIVITY

Since the beginning of our activity we have been research and introducing new solutions for industry. Our research activities have started with the work on developing an innovative method of optimizing the operation of heating devices by increasing the efficiency of the combustion process using the oxygen separation from the air by magnetic field forces. Currently we are the only industrial manufacturer of superconducting magnets in the country.

We participate in projects involving the use of superconductors in magnetic separators, power stores, current limiting devices, energy flow systems and other energy devices. Our research is aimed at developing new products, processes and services or introducing significant improvements to existing ones.

OUR PARTNERS

We are pleased to announce that at the end of 2022, as a result of the signed letter of intent with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, FRAKO-TERM joined the Idea 3W program (water, hydrogen, carbon).

The initiator of Idea 3W is BGK – the Polish development bank. Its goal is to build a community that supports the implementation of projects, technologies, and solutions using water, hydrogen, or carbon.

We are glad that by joining Idea 3W, we can participate in promoting and developing green hydrogen production technology. Thanks to our technologies, it is possible to transition to clean and safe energy.

FRAKO-TERM has obtained the status of a certified partner of Enapter.

Enapter is an innovative energy technology company that produces highly efficient hydrogen generators – known as electrolyzers – to replace fossil fuels and thus drive the global energy transformation. Their patented and proven Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) technology enables mass production of affordable plug & play electrolyzers for green hydrogen production at any scale and in any location. Their modular systems are already used worldwide in energy, mobility, industry, heating, and telecommunications sectors. Enapter has its main offices in Germany and a production facility in Italy.

However, we are not confined solely to the implementation of projects for the industrial sector.

The company cooperates with many local and foreign centers, AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Institute of Electrical Engineering in Warsaw, Institute of Telecommunications in Warsaw and Warsaw University of Technology. Our comprehensive approach to the topics we pursue as well as the openness to innovative technologies allow us to offer high-quality products that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.

Certificate ISO 9001:2015

02.2021
Certificate of management system

We are the main supplier of HV and UHV chambers for the NICA project realized by ZIBJ in Dubna.

11.2020
The NICA project is not only of fundamental and scientific, but also of application significance. The results of the gas pedal will allow for the implementation of a number of technologically advanced solutions in medicine, ecology, energy and space research.

Participation in THE IX INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

06.2018
The IX International Conference for Professionals and Young Scientists “Low Temperature Physics” was held on 4-8 June in Kharkiv, Ukraine. This event is organized annually by B. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering. The conference dealt with theoretical and experimental physics at low temperatures, including solid state physics, nanophysics, biophysics and materials science. Conference participants, professionals from 17 countries around the world, shared results of their research studies and experiments. Frako-Term is proud to be one of the main sponsors of the conference. The meeting with specialists from around the world gave our company great opportunity to present our cryogenic offer and establish valuable business contacts.

Extend our business, introduce new products

04.2017
The extension of the company, the introduction of new products.

Participation in the International Trade Fair Cryogen-Expo IndustrialGases in Moscow

10.2015
On October 27-29, we participated in the 14th edition of the Cryogen-Expo IndustrialGases International Fair in Moscow, where we had the opportunity to share with our visitors the experience and knowledge of our specialization - cryogenic vacuum insulation.

We are working on the construction of superconducting energy storage with an electronic power interface

07.2015
Within the framework of the PBS program, we are working on the construction of a superconducting energy storage device with an electroenergetic power interface for distribution network applications, especially in power systems with a high share of renewable energy sources. The innovation of the venture is in the use of a magnetic coil built from a low temperature superconductor. The essential feature of the physical model will be its full scale of 1: 1 and the energy content stored in the module is equal to 36 MJ, with the assumed average power of 0.25 MW.

Work on superconductor current limiting (NOPZ)

06.2015
We are working on creating a prototype of a superconductor short circuit current limiter (NOPZ), implemented within GEKON. Its use increases the allowable short-circuit power at the point of connection of new generation sources, including renewable energy sources, which in turn will allow better use of existing network infrastructure.

Participation in the International LPG CNG LNG Gas Fair 2015

06.2015
On June 11-14, together with our business partner Forstar, we participated in the 7th edition of the International LPG CNG LNG Gas Turkey 2015. It was an ideal opportunity to share experiences and inspire us to introduce more innovative solutions.
